Soil and Slope Mapping

Objectives :

Detailed soil mapping using Toposheets / satellite images, ground truth survey and spoil analysis and generation of slope map for the state of Jharkhand.
Soil mapping is the identification, description and delineation of different kinds of soil based on the spectral signature on satellite imagery, morphological observation of soil in field, and soil analysis in laboratory.
